"One can never have enough socks. Another Christmas has come and gone and I didnât get a single pair. People will insist on giving me books." - J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Sorcererâs Stone
I don't know about you but when the month of mince pies, Santa hats and mulled wine rolls around, I find myself falling behind on my reading list [inevitably Christmas themed, of course]. Other things become priority and as I find myself scrambling around for gifts and catching up with friends and family, time seems to slip away and so do my intentions for some good old fashioned merriment in the form of sitting down with a hot chocolate and a good book.
So, this year for a little encouragement I created a little page for me to jot down my list, of which I have placed on my bedside table to serve as a reminder of all the books I want to devour this December.
If you need a little push to get back on the reading train, join me and take a moment to write down your list. Sometimes the act of putting pen to paper can be just the push you need.
